Understanding the origin of beauty

What is beauty and where does it actually come from? Ever thought about it.

Beauty is something that gets your attention. It’s something that you like to focus on and remember. It’s a sure-fire fact that every living being likes beauty. Even God, who created beauty, loves beauty.

So, let’s be realistic now. Where does beauty come from? It’s really easy. Everything beautiful in the world is the product of ones thinking.

Very true. The source of beauty is the mind. So, that means that every one of us is capable of doing something beautiful, right.  

A great thinker will always come up with great ideas.

A great writer will publish a no.1 bestseller novel.

A great painter will paint a great picture. 

                       

A great builder will build palaces. Etc…

Are you with me? Makes sense, does it? So, be creative. Creative people have a lot of potential in this world. All great people were creative. Try not to follow the common trends. Be unique.

 

An Anecdote:

One day a little boy went to a market. As he was walking, he saw Socrates (A Greek Thinker) who was molding (making) pots out of clay. Socrates had displayed his artwork for the public. The little boy came up to him and asked him,

                                           

“You make beautiful pots. But where do you make them first?”

Socrates smiled and said,” I make them I my mind first.” Then he went back to work.

The boy was awed. Then he asked another question. “But they are very beautiful. Where does this beauty come from?”

Socrates smiled again and said,” I put my love in it.”

 

MORAL: Whatever you produce, becomes your identity.

Whenever you invest your talent, care, honesty and time in something, you bring alive a beautiful piece of work. Don’t do anything half-heartedly.
