Whirlpool

Whirlpool

The circular movement of water or wind caused by the encounter of two opposing currents is called a whirlpool. It is a powerful force from which escape is difficult. Symbolically, they represent the difficulties and sufferings of life. Just like the whirlpools in large water bodies (i.e., oceans) forcefully drag down everything caught in them, the whirlpools of life are unsafe for humans and lead to their ruination.

In life, the people caught in it have the following habits. In other words, certain habits or way of thinking leads one to get stuck in the unfortunate vortex.

1.   They believe in luck.

These people account for all the happenings to chance. Never accepting their faults, they blame their fate for all the mishaps they go through. If they failed to prove themselves in any circumstance or didn’t get what they wanted, the fact that they didn’t work hard would be the last thing on their minds. Such people are too dumb, lazy or arrogant to put in sincere efforts.

2.Attraction for the other gender.

The way forward in life is to prioritize yourself. Having feelings for others is not bad but it should not cost you your self-respect. Anyone who ruins themselves for someone else is a weak person who will stay stuck in his misfortune and refuse to move forward.

3.Addiction

What is an addiction? Anything on which our lives start depending and would be miserable without becomes an addiction. Or anything which is consumed excessively, be it drinks, drugs, people or objects such as mobile phones. Addiction is unhealthy because our life gets tied to it. Getting as much pleasure from them becomes life’s purpose. Eventually, the real purpose of life becomes a faded memory.

Addictions lessen the willpower of a person and only urge their user to get more of it. A courageous person has enough control to let go of addictions whereas a coward stays firm on them.

4.Can’t distinguish between Right and Wrong

A person who lacks morals and leads an unprincipled life is more likely to get stuck in a whirlpool. He has no idea of what his limitations are and how will he play his role if stuck in a dilemma. Living his life without any rules and discipline, that person is unable to tell right from wrong. Consequently, he will be driving his life in the direction of chaos.

Solution

Escaping from life’s whirlpools requires courage, self-discipline, and a strong character. It is therefore necessary to tie your life to a goal and give it a proper direction. Equally important is to keep your consciousness alive to identify and remove the unproductive things from your life. The will of a person is checked in a difficult situation. A person who wins from his situation successfully escapes the whirlpool.
