Learn a skill in 20 hours

Whether it’s  playing an instrument; learning a sport or communication skill- every skill is learnable. So you can learn any skill you want. But it needs practice and cannot be done overnight- that’s not possible. The question is how much practice is needed. You must’ve heard- the more you practice the better… That’s true and so is what I’m going to say.  “We can learn a skill in 20 hours.” Yes, that’s right. 20 hours of pure learning. Now, this doesn’t mean you should spend the 20 hours straight away without any gaps. Split the 20 hours into regular periods of 45 mins per day (or as you like). In this time learn what you have to. Be honest with yourself. Avoid distractions or doing anything time-wasting. 1)       DECONSTRUCT THE SKILL Divide the skill into small parts to make it easier for you to master the skill by mastering each part. E.g. If you want to improve your English skills, then divide it into different parts- speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. The

Learn Anything- Mastery

  You can learn anything. It’s not complicated. It just needs hard work- plus a method. Let’s take a look at a general method of learning. What are the steps that you need to follow to learn something? And learn it right. 1)     INPUT Give yourself quality input. But first- what is input? Input refers to any knowledge or information that you would like to excel in. So, what is QUALITY input then? Quality Input is that input that you have learnt with focus and attention, i.e. you have focused and paid attention to fully understand what you have learnt. Quality input determines the quality of retention that affects the quality of recall. So, focus on your task. Stop multitasking and avoid all sorts of distractions.   2)   REFLECT Look at your input and ask yourself where or in what circumstances can I use it? What will I do with it?
