Self-help: How to evaluate someone

Are you having difficulty in judging people around you? If yes, then you have come to the right place. Many people out there are unable to understand people with whom they interact in their daily life. Naturally, some people are people-readers or mind-readers. You may know a person in your life who righty guesses about people’s personality after a short time of meeting them. Then, there are those so called unlucky people who fail to judge others properly, and sometimes even suffer the consequences.

I just came across some important tips that were helpful in evaluating others and wanted to share it with you lot.

TIP #1

“If you want to check someone’s morale, give him respect.”

Morale is the confidence, discipline and enthusiasm of a person. You can check the level of a person’s morale when you give him respect.

If a person is lacking in his morale, then he will obviously hurt his near and dear ones.  And, if his morale is high then he will return the respect give to him.

TIP #2

“If you want to check someone’s nature, give him freedom.”

This implies that in order to see what kind of a person one is, he should be allowed to do things at his own will, without anyone’s prohibitions and restrictions. So, stop monitoring and controlling anyone. This way you’ll see the intentions and will of others. You’ll see what the other person actually wants. What he’s like. You’ll see their true colors.

TIP #3

“If you want to check someone’s intentions, give him loan.”

Intentions are hidden. You can never tell what a person intends to do until he himself reveals it to you by his words or actions. Still, you can get an idea y lending him a loan. If he runs away with it, or doesn’t return his promise, then certainly you can’t rely on him. He’s not trustworthy.

TIP #4

“If you want to check someone’s true colors, eat with him.”

The very act Eating is a marvelous activity. People try different foods just for fun. A close observation of the way a person eats his food reveals quite a lot about his real nature. It reveals his personality. Consider yourself dining with a group of other people. You’ll notice that the best or a great one will start to serve and instead of gobbling down his food, will try to make sure everyone had a great meal. On the other hand, a greedy person will not be under his control, and will fill his plate with tons of food.

TIP #5

“If you want to check someone’s patience, criticize them.”

Criticism is not something everyone likes to hear let alone stand it. Only that person who has patience in him will stay quiet, ignore or walk away after listening to criticism. An impatient one will lose his temper and respond furiously. He may even strain relations.

Tip #6

If you want to check someone’s honesty, take advice from him.”

An honest person will give you a good advice. An advice that will prove worthy and helpful. This way he has proved to be willing to help you. This also shows that he cares about you. A wrong or no advise reveals a person’s indifferent attitude to your problems. So, there is no point asking help from a person who doesn’t even other to offer good solutions.

Advising is important. If you want to grow, you have to be a good adviser. A good adviser has the trait of creativity in him.

VALUE THE GOODNESS IN THE WORLD

A good person will sacrifice for the sake of others comfort. He will be kind and generous, putting others needs before his own. So if you find such a person in your life, value him, respect him, don’t ignore him, and don’t take him for granted. Let him know that he is being rewarded for his goodness.

SAD TRUTH

IN this world, we have too much degradation, discrimination and rejection. People forget those who they loved; those who love them; those who helped them; those who sacrificed time and energy for them. People do not remember. They forget as if it never happened. This is an unfair truth. It should not be like that at all.

LAST WORD:   We should always value the good people IN our lives. We shouldn’t let them go. That’s stupidity.
